yoga para niños
Our children get bored, frustrated, have no patience and the moment they want something they believe in the right to have it NOW.
A common conversation that parents who want to be respectful have is whether empathising with our children is causing them to think they have the right to everything. And it is that, unfortunately, that is happening.I’m Amy Holden, a psychologist, certified mindfulness instructor, and mother. I founded Soul Mates because practising yoga and mindfulness has helped me enormously in my own life and in raising my two young sons. I want to give more kids the chance to discover these amazing tools for life.
Facing back to school without tantrums and without stress. Above all, a lot of calm. Here comes one of the most important moments of the year: back to school, back to routine. Not all of us feel the same about it. For some parents it is horrible, for others it is a joy. Some of us feel all the feelings: a cocktail of contradictory emotions, crazy schedules are over, we get back our bedtimes but we also lose the slow pace and moments of peace. Where do you stand?Mindfulness has multiple benefits such as improving sleep, raising self-esteem, reducing anxiety, increasing the ability to concentrate. Meditation will help kids understand and know how to respond to internal stress signals before their brains give way to a full-blown temper tantrum.
